Your donations are truly appreciated

We will continue to collect donations of toiletries and new, unused underwear for our Hamad Hospital project, so please keep bringing them to our meetings! Underwear should be new, packaged or complete with price tag, in any size, color or style.  We'll pass these along to patients at Hamad's cancer ward who lack resources or who need a "boost" in spirit following surgery. November general meeting to feature women’s empowerment in Qatar

Our November general meeting is coming up quickly, and promises to be one of our most intriguing topics to-date. We’ve been privileged to have had Dana Shell-Smith, U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, as our honored guest once again, and all we can say is, “Thank you so much!”. What a wonderful, down-to-earth, “regular” gal!  An honorary member of AWAQ, Ambassador Smith is the epitome of what we stand for: a representative of a “vibrant, active group of women living in Doha”.  But she is so much more! With the s...

To continue AWAQ’s commitment, our Community Service Committee spends countless hours, each month, cutting and sewing patterns to support women who are experiencing the agony of breas...
