AWAQ members were among the dignitaries who celebrated the Discover America food festival recently at Lulu Hypermarket in Al Gharafa.
Alongside members of the American Embassy’s U.S. Commercial Service and American Chamber of Commerce in Qatar, Keena Esemueude, AWAQ President, took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating Lulu’s commitment to bringing the “best of America to Qatar, providing nationals and expatriates of all ages with an opportunity to enjoy America’s best food products”.
Lulu Group is expanding into the US market and setting up a logistics facility that will focus on sourcing goods directly from U.S. manufacturers for import into Qatar and GCC countries. AWAQ received a gift basket from Lulu, to be given away in a lucky draw at the November General Meeting.
