It’s February and LOVE is… in the air! That’s not just a line, it’s a hint about our guest speakers for our February General Meeting. This is a first for AWA and we couldn’t be more excited. We are working to pack the calendar with amazing events for our members – cake decorating, an MIA tour, a makeup event at Salam, a tour at Al Shaqab… and more! We always welcome new ideas for events.
For the first time, we are partnering this month with the Girl Scouts in our Hamad Hospital projects. AWA is providing materials for the Girl Scouts to prepare and assemble heart pillows, medical dolls, and drainage bags. We are going to have so much fun with the Girl Scouts and we look forward to more community service projects with them in the future.
