As we begin the holiday season, I want to reflect on the generous spirit of our members and thank you all for the many kindnesses you bestow on each other and our Doha community throughout the year. For many new arrivals to Doha, our club is their first, and only, chance to meet other women, and we quickly become a lifeline.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support and personal time invested to continue making our club successful. We are committed to remaining relevant to our members as we strive to present high quality events and activities, and planning monthly meetings with meaningful content and speakers that will inspire and stimulate us while living here in Qatar.
Also noteworthy is the amount of support our community service committee has received this year, allowing us to make a meaningful impact in women and children’s lives in Qatar. Sincere thanks to all of you who have agreed to support our different projects and donate your most precious commodity – time.
Many of our members will be leaving Doha in the coming days to spend holidays with family and loved ones around the globe, but for those who will be in town, we hope to see you at the Holiday Luncheon on December 8th (there’s still time to get a ticket!). I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year!
